Project: Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2017

Client brief: Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) is celebrated once in every two years to strengthen the engagement of the overseas Indian community with the Government of India and reconnect them with their roots.

We were asked to build awareness about the event across the globe and mainly reach out to young Indians globally. We were given a target of 5000 event registrations to be achieved within a span of 60 days.



Our Approach

We realized that the registration process for various groups was confusing and complicated and simplified it using infographics. Next we targeted young overseas Indians and created content that looked trendy as well emotionally appealing. We publicized the various programs and talks that were happening at the event and ensured people not only registered for the main event but also for the specific sub-events. Email campaign was extensively used to provide right information to the various groups of delegates.

Result

The Digital Media Campaign for PBD event was a huge success and the registrations reached beyond the set target of 5,000 and had to be closed 3 days prior to the event since it surpassed 10,000 registrations.
